چکیده
Abstract Dens invaginatus (DI) is an anomaly of developmental origin arising due to disturbances during the morphodifferentiation stage, resulting from infolding enamel organ toward dental papilla. Different presentations invagination, altered canal morphology, and presence constrictions dilatations sometimes make its management really challenging. With advent modern diagnostic treatment aids, their easy availability routine use, it now possible have detailed view thus making outcome predictable. This article presents two different DI management.

Dens invaginatus results from an infolding of the outer surface of a tooth. The clinical importance of dens invaginatus results from the risk of pulpal disease. So, all clinicians should be aware of this anomaly. The presence of double dens invaginatus is extremely rare. This article presents three cases of double dens invaginatus in permanent maxillary lateral incisors, one with preventive res...
متن کاملAn Overview of Dens Invaginatus with Report of 2 Cases
Dens invaginatus occurs as a result of invagination of the enamel organ. These cases may present difficulties with respect to its diagnosis and treatment because of canal morphology. It frequently leads to caries, pulpal, and periodontal involvement with necrosis and loss of attachment. The knowledge of classification and anatomical variations of teeth with dens invaginatus are of utmost import...

Dens invagination (DI) is a developmental abnormality of teeth which frequently results in a complex internal anatomy of the root canal system. DI type 3 is an anomaly characterized by infolding of enamel and dentin extending into the root apex. This may present difficulties when forming a diagnosis and treatment plan. Many treatment modalities have been presented in case reports for DI type 3,...

Dens invaginatus is a developmental anomaly resulting from invagination of a portion of crown forming within the enamel organ during odontogenesis. The invagination ranges from a slight pitting (coronal type) to an anomaly occupying most of the crown and root (radicular type). Although a clinical examination may reveal a deep fissure or pit on the surface of an anterior tooth, radiographic exam...
